This is made with a Brown Sugar Bali Pop...at first I thought the brown and blue would not look good, but I really like it. What do you think?
Tomorrow I have to gather my materials for my class with Libby Lehman at Asilomar next week, and Friday I have to prepare for my class at KiwiQuilts on Saturday. Never a dull moment!
Before I go to bed...Judy and Dell really loved the quilting that Margaret did on the Feathered Star. And here's a picture with Judy and the quilt!
If at first you don't succeed, try having a drink while you do it. You'll be surprised how much less you care.

Beautiful work. I have been at asilomar all week. I wish it had been for quilting rather work.
You should come to Asilomar next year! They have great classes and you get a lot done. www.emptyspoolsseminars.com. Hope you at least had great weather - it is just so beautiful...kinda makes up for those hard "a" beds.
I plan to now that I have some contacts there. Hopefully we get a chance to meet. Love your feathered star. Have the pattern. Yes the beds were rather uncomfortable. I stayed in hearth so the fireplace made up for it.
Hearth is nice! I stayed in Hearth last year. One year I was at the complete opposite end...I can't think of the name of it now...but the view of the ocean was fantastic. I slept with the windows open every night! They have the schedule posted for next year: http://www.emptyspoolsseminars.com/2013/EmptySpoolsSeminars2014.pdf They usually don't start taking signups until June.
